Nose piercing aftercare !

Just after you had your tongue pierced:

1) The most important and crucial phase for the good going of the healing of your body piercing is this first month, so make sure you persevere in showing your new little hole tender love and care.

- Wash your hands well and regularly and every time you count on cleaning your nose piercing.

- Never take off your body jewellery, even to clean it!!!!

- Use antiseptic spray on your nose piercing, and wipe it with a Kleenex or a cotton-bud to clean off the impurities. Cotton tends to drop textile fibres so try to avoid its use..

A few months later, it is now time to change your nose jewellery!

If you don't want to be faced with any problem and nasty reaction, keep taking good care of your body piercing. Your patience will be rewrded, and you will be able to wear the lovely piece of body jewellery you acquired so long ago !

- Use a saline wash sold at chemists to clean your nose jewellery.

- You can use alcohol to clean your body jewellery but make sure your jewellery is not made of acrylic, as it could deteriorate (loss of colour and softness).

Notes:

Disinfecting cleaning wipes sold on the market are cheap and effective but not designed for the cleaning of Teflon or Bioplast.

Bathing your jewellery in an ultrasound tank is by far the best way to clean it, even if useless on matters such as PTFE or Bioplast.
